After it's nearly 20 year effort to provide economic participation for Service Disabled and Prisoner of War Veteran owned businesses (DVBE), ASDV feels secure in the belief that it has completed the "enabling" part of its mission.

The existing Federal and State legislation, especially P.L. 106-50 and P.L. 108-183, sponsored by ASDV, now enables the DVBE to obtain government assistance and assured participation in government and prime contractor contracting and procurement.

ASDV will now direct it's considerable experience and expertise to the task of obtaining individual government and prime contractor procurements and contracts for DVBE thru the "ACDB" program.

ASDV will begin with certain industries where we have developed existing opportunities and add "Targets of Opportunity" as they are developed by ASDV or brought to ASDV by the SCDB System.

Any DVBE or potential DVBE that wishes to explore this new initiative should go to the asdv.org website and click on "ASDV Clearinghouse Application for Certification", follow the instructions, fill out the application, disregard certification fee, send to ASDV and ACDB Contracting and Procurement sources will contact you regarding opportunities;.

We have now obtained and organized the "tools" - let's start using them!!!
