FEDERAL GOVERNMENT PERFORMS POORLY FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN ENTERPRISES

In spite of admonishments by the recent 106th U.S. Congress, Federal Agencies continue to ignore the requirement to assist Service Disabled Veterans to maintain their rehabilitation effort.

Based on thirteen indices of performance, the Association for Service Disabled Veterans (ASDV) businesses has disclosed that only two (2) agencies have non-failing record for assisting Service Disabled and Prisoner of War Veterans (SDV) to maintain their rehabilitation as smaller business owners and operators (SDVE).

"All Americans should be ashamed of this lack of support of those persons who sacrificed their well being for the freedom and security of the world," said John K. Lopez, Chairman of ASDV.

However, it is noteworthy that in recent weeks several agencies such as General Services Administration (GSA) and the Department of Defense have "made the connection" between their prosperity and the sacrifice of America's service disabled veterans.

ASDV is compiling similar indices measuring the telecommunications, telecom manufacturing, banking, financial services and power utility's community support for the rehabilitation of our nation's service disabled and prisoner of war veterans.
