How does my company participate and receive opportunities
posted in ACDB?
Once your certification
application is approved your information is entered into the ACDB.
It is important that you INCLUDE YOUR BUSINESS' NAICS
CODES!
The NAICS codes are how the ACDB corresponds the posted opportunity
to the services or goods your company provides and so enables
your company to receive email notification of the corresponding
posted opportunities.
8.
What are the requirements for access to the ACDB Database?
The ACDB Certified
Database is proprietary, and therefore is not accessible to third
parties. Contracting Offices can post opportunities to the businesses
via the ACDB
Opportunity Request Form and this submittal will immediately
distribute the opportunity to corresponding Service Disabled Veteran
Owned Businesses (SDVOBs) via email based on corresponding NAICS
codes entered by the posting contracting officer. The posting
contracting officer will also receive an email confirming their
opportunity posting. This ACDB Request Form allows for an "even
playing field" for all opportunities posted to corresponding
SDVOBs.
9.
How do I find NAICS codes?
Please visit
the NAICS
code web page provided by the Census Bureau. This page also
has SIC-to-NAICS code conversion tools.
